Where Corruption Starts & Ends

Spoiler: in your mind

I just had such an unpleasant situation that made me feel bad about people who complain about corrupted governments. It truly put me into deep thinking about morals and values from a philosophical perspective.

It’s not even a trolley problem that is known as a famous moral dilemma but more like a great distinction between monkeys and people, where one of the greatest features of the last ones is the ability to think out of the tribal.

Let me tell you this story that literally made me so mad and disappointed in people who strive and scream about “oh, we need democracy, not corruption!”

For a pretty long time I wanted to buy the 85 mm lens and this perfect morning the ad from the Facebook market just popped up on my screen. I messaged a guy, confirmed that I’m buying, set up the date & time. An hour later he messaged me with the words, “Hmmm im really really sorry but one of my friend sent a message to me and he would like to buy the lens, i sell him rather. I hope you understand this!” (posted as was sent).

I DON’T UNDERSTAND, I’M SORRY BUT I DON’T F*CKING UNDERSTAND…

…why would one put it publicly on sale and then reject the confirmed deal, saying that friends are friends.

So, then we can also justify you-know-the-names leaders, who prefer to “give it to friends rather” than to people who vote for them!

Why not? Corrupted people deserve a corrupted government. I hope one day they will be able to experience “the democracy” based on their personal values.

The moral: wanna change the world? Start with yourself!
